We love a good night out as much as you do. But when it comes to serving alcohol, we can’t just rely on guesswork. That’s why Metro-Reloaded follows the Challenge 25 policy.

Put simply: if you look under 25, we’ll ask you to show valid ID before we serve alcohol. Even if you’re 30 and take it as a compliment – take it as a compliment! – we still need to check.

What is Challenge 25?

The law says no alcohol for anyone under 18. But let’s be honest: in a busy nightclub, with dim lights and loud tunes, it’s not always easy to tell. Challenge 25 gives us a safety buffer – by setting the threshold at 25, our staff aren’t forced to play “guess the age” when you order at the bar.

What ID do we accept?

• A valid passport
• UK photocard driving licence
• PASS card (Proof of Age Standards Scheme)
• Military ID with the right security features

Sorry, but digital ID on your phone isn’t accepted for alcohol sales. Bring the real thing and you’re golden.

What if we ask you for ID?

Don’t take it personally. Looking young is a blessing! Our staff are simply following the policy that applies to everyone who looks under 25. If you’ve got valid ID, show it and you’ll be served. No ID, no alcohol – simple as that.
